After a horrible experience in a unnamed treatment in San Diego, I ended up voluntarily in a psych ward in Chino. 3,000 miles from home and scared to death, I had spoke to Johnnie over the phone for the first time. We spoke every day for a week as he helped put me at ease in one of the most turbulent times of my life. Upon my arrival at Alchemy House, everyone from driver Dan, to the house manager Toni (and everyone in between) were truly amazing. Well everyone except that guy Dan'o... He was just a pain in the a**... JOKING... Much love Dan'o! All I can say is that it was a truly amazing experience. Johnnie and Dan'o run an incredible program built on what I can only describe as a genuine love to see others recover, rebuild, and thrive. I owe my life to these guys and recommend any one struggling with addiction to reach out. I LOVE YOU GUYS AND CAN NOT THANK YOU ENOUGH! JB

Through my personal experience of going through several sober livings Alchemy is by far one of the best. After many attempts at sobriety I finally found a legitimate solution through Alchemy and the focus on 12 Step work there. Dano and Johnnie are some of the most loving and passionate people I have met in the recovery community. I highly recommend Alchemy to anyone that is looking for a long term solution to their alcohol and drug problems! Alchemy not only guided me to a solution but taught me life skills and how to live a positive life that is getting bigger and better every day! I will forever be grateful to Dano and Johnnie for all their help.

This house has really changed my life. I started here with no place to go. Since I've been here I've made many life long friends. I have learned to live life in a way by which I'm truly happy without using. I've gotten sober before but with an open mind and being at this house I've gained the tools that allow me to stay sober and live a full happy life while doing it. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who honestly wants to be sober and is willing to put in the work necessary to do so.
